TRUE HEALING DEPENDS ON TWO THINGS:
1. How much love, forgiveness and acceptance we hold in our hearts for ourselves, as well as for the world around us, in any given moment.
2. How much Peace & Presence we hold in our awareness throughout each and every moment of every day on our journey.
Focusing on just these two pointers will change not only your life for the better, but also has the power to change the world.
HEALING IS:
About letting go of expectations and beliefs, and fully embracing and accepting this moment, exactly as it is, with gratitude, as if we had chosen it. IE being open to life, and what life is bringing into our awareness in just this moment.
- A shift back into alignment with our true Being: into conscious alignment with our I AM Presence.
- About choosing peace (presence) over our ‘story’, no matter how awful, urgent or important that story purports to be.
The Retreat reminded us of what already lies deep within our souls, yearning to be recognised – reigniting our own inner knowing and wisdom. The work is about rekindling our soul’s desire to awaken, and to live more consciously, ‘in love’, connected to the gift of life.
All truth is within, and so all that any good guide or teacher can really do is lead you to the door of your own deeper knowingness, and inspire you to be courageous enough to step through the void, with total surrender to the is-ness of life in this moment.
Most importantly: facing each and every challenge as it arises, with PRESENCE. This dramatically transforms your life experience from fear, regret, anger, guilt, or any one of a myriad of painful inner emotions, to equanimity.
THIS AWAKENING JOURNEY ULTIMATELY DIRECTS US TO:
Raise our awareness to the Power of Presence, in healing, not only in our own lives, but also in the world as a whole, through the quantum effects of our heart/mind energy, which has the potential to shift the Field.

For many in the world this is a time of challenge, change and transformation, and we believe it is all designed to help us to Shift and Awaken now from the dream of mind, materiality, control, fear and misperception.
This poem from Rumi says it all…
Don’t Go Back To Sleep
“The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you;
Don’t go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want;
Don’t go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth between
the door sill where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.

Once you start to awaken, don’t go back to sleep…
SOME REMINDERS AND POINTERS
It is easy to be sucked back into the mind-matrix of daily living, but know that as you see your life-story and life-circumstances from a new perspective, magically the world and people around you will shift as well.
Most people are going through very interesting, and sometimes challenging times, but remember, we are so privileged to be here on Earth at this period in time. Transformation is a process which requires vigilance as well as perseverance, and our job is to anchor this new energy in our own environment and area of influence.
Please continue to use the tools we discussed on the workshop and to meet any new challenges with presence.
Our consciousness in this moment is creating our future reality, and as such is more important than anything else at this time.
This weekend was like planting a seed, which now needs nurturing and tending in order to to grow into full potential.
And remember – Presence is the Key.
SOME TOOLS
Some of the tools which we can use to help us step into Presence are:
1. BODY AWARENESS
As the physical body is always present, this is a powerful tool in awakening.
We spent some time on the workshop practicing dropping down and back into the physical body, into stillness.
Practice feeling yourself in your body – feel your body from the inside – as an electric tingling sensation simultaneously in every part of your body. We suggest you continue this practice many times each day in the weeks and months that follow.
When a difficult feeling arises, put your shoulders back, breathe, soften and open more to it, not less. . Allow whatever it is to be there, exactly as it is. Let it move through you like a wave, without trying to understand it. Simply surrender to the physical experience of the wave. When a story arises about the wave, bring it back to the physical experience
2. BREATHING AWARENESS
Become aware of your breath – it only takes one conscious breath to be present! Make the outbreath more important and longer than the inbreath, to relax you.
3. LISTENING AWARENESS
Alert listening attention brings you into presence; listen to a stream, listen to the wind rustling the leaves of a nearby tree, listen to the call of a bird…, no labelling, just pure listening.
For bringing your awareness back from the matrix put your hands on an imaginary steering wheel, and steer your mind back out from the past or the future, back into just this moment. (Click Here for John’s You Tube clip on this exercise)
5. MEDITATION
Practicing inner stillness: we encourage you to anchor yourself in meditation and/Qi-gong/or Yoga / Tai-chi daily. You are worth the investment in yourself every day!
6. HEALING MUSIC
Play some heart-centred music, and just sit with it, or even better, allow your body to flow with it.
7. CREATIVITY
Set some time aside in your diary to bring yourself back into flow or to process emotion, by drawing, painting, playing with clay, with no outcome in mind. This, as you experienced on the retreat, can be enormously healing. Keep coming back to the present moment and what you feel in your body. This opens the gates of Flow to enter your life.
8 . EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE – EFT (click link)
This has been found to be highly effective in shifting stuck emotions and mental patterns. Try this powerful affirmation while tapping on the meridian points:
“Even though I am feeling this way (name it exactly as it is – (no maturity, wisdom or higher awareness is necessary at this point- just an honest, authentic enquiry about whats going on for you right now) – I deeply love and approve of myself.” Repeat over and over until the intensity shifts.
9. GRATITUDE PRACTICE
Make it a daily habit to write down 10 points of gratitude last thing at night and first thing in the morning. Anchoring your mind in gratitude is a powerful tool of transformation. Gratitude is the gateway to acceptance, surrender and flow.
10. MIRROR WORK
Every morning, look into the mirror and say (Your name) I love you. You can add … And accept you exactly as you are! Repeat three times.
Love is the answer to all our challenges, and surrendering to just this moment, is the portal into the 5th Dimension of Higher Awareness, Understanding and Love which is now being opened for us. And the key to this is loving (accepting) yourself, right now, in just this moment.
11. AFFIRMATIONS
Use the affirmation card that you selected to help rewire your brain. Use it as an on-going mantra in your day. It will help clear the limitations and blockages in your mind. It works well to stick it near your bathroom mirror so you can see it when you do your morning mirror work. Additional affirmations can be found here.
12. NATURE
Time spent connecting with nature quickly helps clear the mind of its story and opens your awareness to the power of presence. A walk in a forest is ideal, but even 5 minutes sitting on a park bench watching a squirrel foraging for nuts or observing the wind playing with the leaves of a tree is enough to bring peace back into your awareness.
At the end of our life journey here on Earth the only judgment we will make on ourselves is – did we love fully; did we love to our maximum potential in all situations? And did we give love in all situations? While we can change nothing in the past, we can live a better future in Flow. And it all starts with being fully present now, which opens the tap, allowing love to flow more fully though you into the world.
Remember – whatever you focus on, negative or positive, expands in the world.
As we choose to refocus our awareness on peace and presence, this will grow and become the predominant experience in our own world.
The world out there is always a reflection of the world we hold within.
WHAT WILL WE FEED?
What we feed with our thoughts and emotions grows
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside us,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil(unconscious) – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
Whatever we feed becomes our reality…
Let’s feed the light within us now…
FOOD
Talking of feeding – we didn’t really go into diet on the workshop, but we urge all most interested in stepping out of fear (false evidence appearing real) to cut down or eliminate all refined and factory produced ‘foods’ and especially sugars and carbohydrates, as much as possible, as refined sugar is a neuro-toxin and disconnects us from our Sacred Centre and blocks our Point of Power. Be wary of non-organic factory farmed meat products. These carry a very low vibration of fear, as well as karma due to inhumane production process.
Your body is also subject to changing energies (frequencies). You may want to see that you include high dosages of omega 3 and vit B12 and vit D3 (with K2), as well as having blue/green algae and wheat-grass (powdered is preferable to tablet form which sometimes do not dissolve properly). This will all help in raising the consciousness in mind and body.
