which is also the Introductory Foundation Week for our 13 Week
This week, we will be laying the foundations which you can carry with you for the rest of your life. We have divided the week up into 5 chapters, designed to be worked through consecutively over the 7 days.
To get optimal benefit from the course, its best to do only one day at a time and to not look at the next day’s material until its time to work it.

- Set up a sacred place if possible, to return to every day
- Listen to the Centering Meditation (preferably in the morning and in a quiet space, through headphones)

The first video provides you with a map of consciousness & a way out of the mind-made matrix and into the depth of life.
Its essential viewing for this week. Please watch it even if you are familiar with the model, perhaps a couple of times if necessary, to really absorb it, as this is the essential foundational teaching in this course.
This Map has greatly assisted thousands of people to live their lives differently, make better choices, and step into a greater level of Love, Presence and Peace, leading to true freedom.
THE STEERING WHEEL EXERCISE
In the second 7 minute clip, John shares the Steering Wheel model – a practical, accessible tool to take you out of the horizontal plane of suffering and into the vertical dimension of peace. By using this too, one is able to quickly and effectively clear negative emotions that plague the mind.

AFFIRMATION
Here is your Affirmation for the week. Please download this onto your phone or print it out and put it up in a prominent place. Its also a good idea to paste it or write it in your Journal. Affirmations are most effective when repeated as often as possible.

DOODLE YOUR WORD FOR 2024
At your leisure, after the visualisation
ART SUPPLIES
- Cardboard or stiff paper – A4 or A3
- Gel pens, kokis, pencil crayons or paint
GUIDELINES
- Lay out your art materials, switch off your phone, light a candle and try to ensure you won’t be disturbed for an hour or more.
- Settle down comfortably and listen to the Visualisation Meditation, noticing any colours, textures or words that come up for you.
- Staying in presence, draw your word and doodle into and around it.
- The doodle can be very simple or as complex as you like.
- The simple act of doodling helps us to disengage from the logical, controlling linear mind and brings us into presence.
- As we feel our hands gliding across the paper, with no fixed outcome in mind, we learn how to trust the process, the journey between two points.
- In the space of “now”, we connect with the vertical plain find peace, contentment, courage and inherent wisdom.
- This is where the sweetness of life is found.
- When you’ve completed your doodle, take a photo and put it on your cell phone/computer as a screensaver and/or print it out and hang it up somewhere prominent. (The Fridge or a cupboard door are good places)
- Each time you see it, it will remind you of your intention, trigger positive feelings within you and keep you on track with your Vision for 2024.
