This is also the Introductory Foundation Week for our 13 WEEK JOURNEY TO FREEDOM COURSE

This week, we will be laying the foundations which you can carry with you for the rest of your life. We have divided the week up into 5 chapters, designed to be worked through consecutively over the week.

To get optimal benefit from the course, its best to do only one day at a time and to not look at the next day’s material until its time to work it.

THE MAP OF THE MATRIX

The first video provides you with a map of consciousness & a way out of the mind-made matrix and into the depth of life.

Its essential viewing for this week. Please watch it even if you are familiar with the model, perhaps a couple of times if necessary, to really absorb it, as this is the essential foundational teaching in this course.

 This  Map has greatly assisted thousands of people to live their lives differently, make better choices, and step into a greater level of Love, Presence and Peace,  leading to true freedom.

THE STEERING WHEEL EXERCISE

In the second  7 minute clip, John shares the Steering Wheel model – a practical, accessible tool to take you out of the horizontal plane of suffering and into the vertical dimension of peace. Welcome to this week’s centering meditation. Its best to do it at a similar time of day, in the same place, to get into a routine.

Please set aside some time each day to dedicate to this – if you can do it a few times a day, all the better.

Here is your Affirmation for the week.  Please download this onto your phone or print it out and put it up in a prominent place. Its also a good idea to paste it or write it in your Journal. Affirmations are most effective when repeated as often as  possible.

CREATIVE PROJECT – PURPOSE COLLAGE

At your leisure, after the meditation

 

This project can be spread out over a few days. You can do a quick collage or you can spend a lot of time on it.. It’s also entirely up to you, whether you would prefer to do this digitally or on paper.

There is absolutely no need for any artistic ability whatsoever.  Remember, it’s the process that’s important!

PREPARATION

If you are doing this on paper, you’ll need a few magazines, a pair of scissors, some glue and a piece of cardboard or thick paper. You can also use paints, gel pens or kokis, instead of sticking and pasting. 

Before you start, find an image that you like of yourself (head or head and shoulders) –it should be an image that generates good feelings for you and should preferably be in colour and the size of an A4 piece of paper, or thereabouts.

If you are creating your collage with paper, print the image of yourself out in colour.

MEDITATION

Once you’ve laid out your materials, bring yourself into the present moment by doing the centering meditation. 

At the end of the meditation, feel into any colours, images or words that might arise for you.

CREATING THE COLLAGE

 

  • When you’ve completed the meditation, look for some images in magazines or online, that represent how you feel when you are aligned to the vertical plane – present moment awareness.
  • You might also include copies of greeting cards, or messages which have given you feedback about your positive qualities (not your outward accomplishments)
  • You might want to write or print out some quotes as well, including possibly this month’s affirmation
  • Cut around these images and move them around the photograph of you.
  • Paste these images onto the cardboard and then doodle around them, add glitter or anything else you would like.
  • Position this artwork somewhere you can see it every day.
