DECEMBER – EXPANDING HORIZONS
After the deep excavations of recent months, December invites us to step into Sagittarian energy, lifting our vision, expanding our horizons and illuminating the wisdom gathered throughout the year.
This cycle calls us to explore liberation; to release ourselves from the prisons of personality and consciously enter a more spacious, spiritual reality.
To expand consciousness is to shift from the narrow lens of individual identity into the vast perspective of all-that-is, recognizing that we are inseparable from the totality of Source.
The journey unfolds uniquely for each soul—sometimes sudden, sometimes gradual—but it always begins with the longing to break free from our cages and to encounter Source directly.

MORNING
Continue your “stream of conscious” journaling.
THROUGHOUT THE DAY
Be aware of when you find yourself expanding and when you find yourself contracting.
If you find yourself contracting, repressing, pushing away a thought, an emotion, a person or a situation , consciously step back into an expanded state of awareness – into your true, infinite self. Observe. Allow and Open..
IN THE EVENING
Last thing at night, ask yourself what you were able to let go of during the day and whether there is anything you would still like to release before you go to sleep.
Daily Meditation
Welcome to this months meditation. Its best to do it at a similar time of day, in the same place, to get into a routine.
Please set aside some time each day to dedicate to this – if you can do it a twice a day, all the better.

Expanding Horizons
STEP ONE – Prepare your materials
The examples below have been created using soft white crayon on a black surface, which works well, as you can create great shading effects. However, you can use gel pens, inks or paints and you can use different colours too. The idea is to draw or paint as if you’re drawing with a wand of light!
- Board or paper – Either buy a dark coloured surface or paint a light surface with midnight blue or black before you start your process.
- Soft crayons, Gel Pens, inks, paints, soft pastels
- Candles, incense, music
STEP TWO – Prepare yourself
- Create a sacred space with candles, incense, music – switch off your phone and make sure you won’t be disturbed
- Sit quietly and do this month’s meditation (this is a very important part of the process)
STEP THREE – Create your Expanded Horizons artwork
- Maintaining your relaxed, expanded state, pick up a crayon / pen or paintbrush and make a dot in the centre of the paper
- Working from the centre, start to draw lines and/or shaded shapes (if you’re using crayons) outwards.
- Feel into the expanded energy as you draw
- Imagine that your pen is a wand of light and you are drawing your light out of the nothingness
- You might even try drawing with your eyes closed,
- Turn the paper around as you work. Repeat the patterns, change their size, direction. Overlap shapes and lines.
- If you get lost, come back to your breath, bring yourself into your centre and place your pen or paintbrush in the centre once again.
- Let your intuition guide you and be open to the flow of love through your hands into the pen or crayon and onto the paper.
- Have the courage to explore what it feels like to be completely free and expanded – with no “shapes”, no apparent “order” and no outcome in mind.
- This is the pattern and expression of your unique light, which is who you are at your essence!
